GEMS supports unlimited
organizations, multiple warehouses, multi currency transactions, multi
currency accounting, multiple languages and various costing methods. You
configure it the way you want and get full reporting options at individual
organization level or at HQ level.
Flexible Information Dimension
Charges in business processes may require,
collection of additional information. While using GEMS you may realize that
certain information is not needed or additional information is required for
decisions-making. An advance user can add, change or delete information
dimensions at any time, even after GEMS has been put in production.
Customization Tool
GEMS is designed to adapt to your
business processes. The customization tool helps to rapidly modify system
aspects, for a group of companied, for an individual company or for a
specific role.
The authorized users can create and rearrange the entry
forms, fields, colors, fields labels add
fields screens and reports.
Automated Workflow
GEMS workflow engine helps you automate a range of
business tasks, and electronically route the right information to the right
people at the right time. Users are notified of pending work, and managers
can observe status and route approvals through the system quickly.
All processes in GEMS are automatically workflow enabled
and easy to extend and modify.
Threshold, Alerts, Scheduler
and e-mail
GEMS provides dynamic priority
management, allowing use of escalation rules. For example, users can define
escalation rules for non-action and send alerts.
A user can define business exception situations to receive
proactive notifications. Such notifications, alerts or approval requirements
can be a simple e-mail, a report or running of a process.
GEMS also provides an integrated
scheduler for processes and reports and the result can be sent via e-mail to
a particular user or to a mailing list. This allow
easy report distribution.
Smart Online Report Builder
GEMS report viewer allows drill-down to any entity
referenced and drill-across to entities where the reported entity is used.
System supports transactional and summary reports, forms, financial reports
& statements. The generated reports can be saved in pdf,
html, csv, txt and xml formats and viewed or sent
electronically at any time.
Document Management
GEMS provides a central
repository for multiple attachments allowing enterprise wide document
management and helps to move towards paperless office. The attachments can be
simple notes, external files or images. If a records
has an attachment, it will be displayed in the tool-bar.
